Lynette Louise

Welcome to all things Lynette Louise!

In a world where lots of people have multi-hyphenated identities, a whole new language would have to be invented to describe Lynette Louise. She is an artist and an academic, a brainiac and a goofball, a healer and a heat-seeking missile. She is a rock and a free spirt, and most of all, she is the loving mother of an intense, colorful, demanding brood of eight, now young-adult children (five with special needs) and eight grandchildren.

Lynette Louise holds two board certifications in Neurofeedback and is working on her PhD in Clinical Psychophysiology. As a neurofeedback specialist, Lynette Louise is on the cutting edge of treating autism and other brain-related disorders. With extensive training in several disciplines addressing autism and a 20 year personal history of working with her own special needs children, Lynette has achieved an expertise that is both scientific and intuitive and is creating miraculous results for her clients. In addition to Lynette's life mission as a mother seeking new treatments for autism, she is also an accomplished performer, having enjoyed an early success in Canadian TV and (by her own admission) "B" movies. While solo performing frequently took a back seat to raising her unconventional family, she often created comedy and music shows turning the whole group into a traveling troupe and toured successfully around Canada and the United States. Currently Lynette is performing her one woman show "THING TO THING TO THING: From Crazy to Sane with Biofeedback, Autism and the Brain". This autobiographical evening combines intellectual discussions of brain therapy, hilarious and irreverent song and dance, and deeply poignant story-telling from an extraordinary and absolutely unique woman.
